Welcome to my personal webpage. My name is Kristian Adi Putra. I got my doctoral degree from the University of Arizona, USA, where I majored in second language pedagogical theory and program administration and minored in language, reading, and culture. Every semester, I regularly teach three online graduate courses, language planning and policy, critical discourse analysis and academic reading and writing in the Master's Degree Program in English Language Teaching at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. I am also teaching two integrated ESL classes, academic reading and writing skills, at the Deanship of Preparatory Year, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, KSA. Prior to that, I taught the Indonesian language and culture at the University of Montana, USA. My research and teaching interests include Indigenous youth language and multilingualism, language planning and policy, critical discourse analysis, technology-enhanced L2 teaching and learning, and language teacher education.
